Singhlila National Park in India has lifted ban on tourists coming to visit the park to see the endangered red panda this year.

The national park banned tourists from visiting the park from June to October, the breeding season for red panda, every year. The park lifted the ban to promote tourism in the area.

The lifting of the ban has elated locals and tourism entrepreneurs.

Hotels on the Nepali side are occupied with tourists.  Hotel entrepreneur Tilak Gurung of Maijogmai-2 said the number of tourists visiting the area had increased remarkably. “Tourist arrivals have increased of late,” Gurung said.

Many  tourists visit destinations such as Manebhanjyang,  Chitre, Tumling, Jaubari, Gairibash, Kalpokhari, Sandakpur through  India.

The park also banned trekking from Ilam’s Tumling to Panchthar’s Phalot in the border area.

A local Kumar Gurung of Jamuna said tourists coming in droves to see red panda this year.

India has constructed a trekking route from Pashupatinagar’s Manebhanjyang to Kanchanjhangha Base Camp in the border area. Hundreds of tourists from Nepal and third countries trek along the route.

Red Panda Conservation Programme is under way through red panda network for the protection of endangered animals in high hilly and mountain areas of Panchthar, Ilam and Taplejung.

Hotel Shivam plaza is best hotel in Kathmandu. Shivam plaza is the ultimate Pashupatinath hotel opened in just 50 meters distance of the temple complex. We would also like to call us the airport hotel in Nepal as we are just 500 meters away from Tribhuvan international airport. The idea of being located centrally at Gaushala is to offer a very lovely accommodation for travelers, which is close to the airport and the biggest Hindu shrine of Nepal.

The hotel complex is  4 stored and has 39 rooms. The foundation is strong and earthquake resistant till 9 richter scale. The hotel houses a restaurant big enough to accommodate slightly over 60 people. The hotel facility also has a basketball court which is very rare in Kathmandu due to lack of ample amount of space. Since we promote MICE travel we also have two in house meeting rooms. The parking space on the other hand is big enough to accommodate the transportation of your convoy.

All in all the idea of our hotel is to offer you a top notch facility with high class service in the area which is developing as a business hub. At Shivam Plaza we offer one stop solution for all your travel and holiday need in Nepal. Our vision is to help you save you time, money and hassle from traveling to the city center.
